Sense of Sight

Puddles the color of tea. Wet yu gi oh cards on the road. Trying to whistle in the soft aftermath of thunder. Two girls greet me and I'm glad to reply. Entering my room; all is peaceful. The rain once again reminds us of all that we have to be thankful for.

Valentine's came and went. That day was the 18th birthday of my friend Jessica. There was a dinner at her house to celebrate. She made mexican food, real mexican food, and my day couldn't possibly have been more happy. And full. Jessica's new family has an amazing house, complete with pool and koi pond. And. AN OVEN AND A PIANO!

My classmates have been testing lately. Most high schools are finished now, and entering into break. Our school doesn't get out until the middle of March :( But I will attend the extra month. Perseverance has become a habit of mine.

Well, I'm not going to school next week :) Instead, I'm visiting a fellow Oregonian! She lives in the central region; it will be my first time to travel around so I'm beyond thrilled. Plans include: locate tacos, make some EGG NOG, run through Ayuttaya naked (I kid, I kid), see tiger, survive Bangkok ;) Expect pictures upon my return.

The world has expanded above and around me; opening my eyes reveals much. My life is full of opportunities, but I'm not sure which ones to take. Restrictions are a strengthening; limits are a means to the end of freedom. The world is reluctant, but today it is so beautiful.
