Sabai-Sabai (Relaxing)

Two days ago, my semester break began. My classmates have just finished their Final Exams (we all remember how fun those are), and I just finished enjoying an amazing "vacation" day that was finally not spent sleeping and eating and surfing the web (sometimes Oregon life is just lame).
Maria from Brazil and Braeden from Alberta, Canada came over to my house, all the way from Rayong, a town around an hour west of me. They got here at 9 this morning. So what time did I wake up? 9:15.....sure my neighbor told me to wake up at 8, but she told me that at 7:30....which wasn't so brilliant because I was not awake then. AND so, bewildered me throws together clothes and inhales some bacon, and out the door we go!
**side note: as we were driving, I realized that Braeden's home of Calgary, Alberta might be a place my family can visit, since we'll go to the Lake Louise / Lake Banff area in August 2012! :D He says, Mom and Dad, "visit the hot springs and you can also go up to the place where the glacier water comes out and drink fresh water straight from the glacier." I didn't realize that my Canada trip next year will consist of staying in a UNESCO World Heritage Site!**
Our first stop: Oasis Sea World, a charming little place with old swings, hammocks, and giant rambutan imitations. Weird.... Actually, we went there and got to see dolphins get trained and perform for us. The show was impressive, and the background music was an odd blend of Thai, American, and Hispanic pop.
For lunch, we decided to pull over and get some pork and rice from a roadside restaurant. I have mention the place because it had the best pork I've had in Thailand. However, I wanted to buy a drink afterwards, which is when I tasted the worst orange juice I've had in my life... they put a little iced juice in their mixer, and then add tons and tons of salty sugar syrup. x(
We drove aways, and then reached a spot that was untouched by houses or gas stations. We got out and with amazement stared around. We were surrounded by beautiful jungle and signs that said "Namtokphlio National Park." After barely five minutes of walking up and down rocky stairs, we reached a waterfall. Not huge, but surreal. In the lower water was a swarm of fish, so we threw string beans at them, and they swam up to our legs. :D When we got to the base of the waterfall, we had a wonderful and spontaneous thought: let's swim next to the waterfall. So we rolled up our pants and waded in. That was just....swimming in the waterfall (not under, mind you) was the most amazing experience I will have in water, maybe ever. By the way, Americans, your water is not near as pleasant as Thai water! Especially because it doesn't have fish swimming around you legs and warm breezes  through the jungle. :)
I was feeling sad about not getting snow or skiing for a year, but today just about made up for it.

Here's photos I've taken from my phone:
