The Halfway .

Air conditioned room with pink bed and window curtains. Hooray! Behind the curtains are WINDOWS, and I've got a nice closet for stashing my stuff. My suitcases do weigh twice what they used to, which is from the school uniforms, snacks, and all the ungiven gifts.

Cold shower is cold. Especially in the breezy mornings. But 'tis Thailand, so getting used to yelping as you pour water over yourself is a piece of cake.

     Now I want cake.

My new family is my dad, mom Mae Wahn, and two grandmas. And this guy...who sleeps near my room...I hope we know him. My host mom calls me "luke," meaning "child" which makes me feel loved :3 My meals are less than balanced....barbeque chicken and fries...hot dogs and rice....chocolate milk....who cares :)

Chanthaburi is, technically, no longer my home. I live 30 kilo outside the city area, in Tha Mai. Pronounced "tah mai" not "tha mai." I'm next to the river and the ocean. The river is pretty, the beach is not; it's where people put their trash.

To and from school: Van ride. Hour long van ride. Cold hour long van ride. Cold hour long van ride with wind.

I'm actually wearing a jacket today =.= And sorry I'm lazy right now, so this is an ugly unsophisticated blog as I dream of a world where mosquitoes don't ruin my sleep pattern.
