Thailand....what is it like? Well! First off, it's very warm. Very wet too at this time, but if you have a fan you'll manage :) My host family has a garden surrounding the house and a shrimp farm just a minute away, that is where my dad works. I have a host mom as well, and she is very nice and tries to help me understand Thai. My host brother is Nong Day, and he is 13 years old.
I have a nice room upstairs in the second floor, which has AC and a large bed in theme Winnie the Pooh :D . Also there is a lot of chibi and Doraemon things in Thailand. I like to shower here becauase you fill a bucket with warm or cold water in the washroom, then use a bowl to pour water over yourself. I like the soap here because it make my skin smooth and smells like grapes. XD
The food has not been too spicy for me yet, and we have yummy fresh shrimp....soon, I think I will become an expert at preparing shrimp to eat. The fried shrimp tastes good like a potato chip, and some of the potato chips taste like shrimp. :D The spicy soup is good too......there is so much good food! Only two things are not good for me, the sour flavored milk and also raw shrimp. I don't know if it's good to eat raw shrimp...but despite it's good taste it is too slimy for my preferences.
Ahh! I've encountered a problem. There is so much to say about Thailand, but I cannot go on typing forever...that would be no good. Maybe I need to blog more often so I don't carry on for an hour! 55555
P.S. 5 is the same as "ha", in the Thai language, because the number 5 is spoken as "ha". :)
Please view the pictures of the beginning of my experience! If you can which I will post on Facebook. Here is the link if you are not "friends" with me.
