This'll be a quick post. I have only three things to say.
After vocalizing my pain in school and therefore being shipped off to the hospital, I endured a long process which the climax of was a very uncomforable ultrasound. I've managed to acquire the flu infection in my lymph nodes. I hope it's not too serious, but it feels awful. However, I'm betting I don't need to get my appendix taken out like they've hinted at. These past few days have been traumatic health-wise, complete with weakness, stomache pain, missing school, and my very first migraine.
Yesterday was enjoyable, with my new friend Gun and my less new friend Bpin. It was so good to see Bpin again, because the lack of other foreigner contact (from everyone else's trip to Phu Kradung) hit me harder than I was planning. And Gun is a kind Thai boy who is incredibly tall. He bought me fresh strawberries (nowhe'smyfavoritepersonthoughIcannotbringmyselftoeatthem). I felt slightly bad for not speaking more Thai with him when the three of us were together at the mall. Thing was, Gun barely knows English but Bpin barely knows Thai. Not to brag, but I'm starting to get the best of both worlds. The three of us got some significant exercise dodging the motorcycles and cars. For lunch, we stopped by Oodie's Pizza, a new place most people don't know about yet. I ate Gun's fries and part of Bpin's as well, not to mention my own fries and tomato soup <3. After eating, we sang loudly in a (having mercy on bystanders) sound-blocking karoke booth. My first official time to karaoke, and I loved it despite the small English song selection :) **I would tell you about my public "Thai dance dance revolution" experience, but I failed. Badly.**
This weekend is a 3-day trip to Pattaya! The thirst for travel and adventure is finally going to be somewhat quenched. If you don't know Pattaya, it's only the most (in)famous beach town in eastern Asia. Touristy but still very Thai, there are a lot of attractions to be found in Pattaya, such as water sports, elephants, oceanic life, and nightclubs. During the three days, I'll be joining the other Rotary 3340 kids, and we'll have a talent show of sorts in Pattaya and our hotel to raise money for the flood victims.
