The End Of แตงไทย

The background shows rambutan. Rambutan is a sweet clear fruit with strange red outside. That is all.

My time here is not enough to count on the fingers of one hand.

You're kidding me, right?? I am not going to leave this place.

Finally! It's time I'm home already.

Both thoughts are in my head. To tell you the truth, my home is not here. My home is in Oregon. My exchange is here yes, but, I'm ready to find out how senior year will go...what has changed? What's the same? What are my friends like? My family? My sister?? Does my dog even remember me... and who the heck is he/she who I've never met before?

Asking an exchange student to return home is possibly the most stressful thing you can do to them. I'm going to explode.

I packed my bags, save my current outfits and toiletries, which I'll pack a few hours before I head to the airport. So the rest of the stuff I've collected? One check-in, 15 kilos. Let's say it together now: Clarissa Did Not Receive / Buy Enough Thai Stuff And We Are Disappointed In Her Because She Was Unwise and Used Most of That Time and Money To Eat Food.

Now that we've finished scolding me, let's celebrate! I've become a new person, I've turned a new leaf, I'm (almost!) another year older, I have so many new things I've experienced and new friends to stay in touch with.

The funny thing is, no matter how much you read my blog, follow my Facebook, talk to me in person, the only people who have lived this experience are me, and the other exchange students. Only they know what it's like. You may come close to knowing this type of thing, but not quite. Thank you for all those who have stuck by me and helped me get to the place I'm at today. And if you haven't traveled or become an exchange student, I fully encourage you! Don't approach the world as a tourist, but go deeper and learn from the world; approach it as a student.

**Please stick around for my last post, which will be once I'm back in the States!**

     Enjoy the photos. ^_^

I need to cut ma herr.

All the other food I'm really bored of and so yeah going home will be cool since I get an oven and kitchen and stuff. Or at least more freedom culinary-wise. This is: CUCUMBER SWEETNESS and PEANUT SAUCE which you dip the STRANGE YELLOW PORK STICKS into.

My new shoes!! The only thing I've bought myself besides a poster!! My feet aren't pink, that's the curtain lighting.

Yes, my host parents decided that Frook should get his ears died...it's very cute... and illegal in USA? But cute...
