It's been awhile! My internet connection is my nemesis, seriously.
Ants have found their way into my room. BECAUSE they are after my toiletry bag. Not my food, not my water, they are after my toiletry bag.
My poor camera was so used last week because of all the videotaping I did of the elephant show :) But an elephant show is not all that happened last week. I got to be with many exchange students who lived all over Thailand, and on the 12th I smiled at some of my favorite people for the last time. A very bittersweet experience is standing in a room with people from seven countries, everyone knowing our time together is coming to a close.
BANGKOK INTERNATIONAL CONVENTION! I am super uber lucky to go on exchange and have the Rotary International Convention take place in my country! There were about 35,000 attendees and I posed for pictures with many of them. I got to speak with an Australian for the first time; I listened to African women from Africa speak in English about geography, get smiled at by a weird bearded Indian... don't forget the Rotarian speakers from all corners of the globe. Amazing.
During this time, was I sitting down and being a good Rotary kid? Hahahahahahaha....no.
I was using the skytrain to eat food.
:D
I spent about US 100 dollars on food.
:(
And after all the conferences came to a close, it was off to Pattaya and Rayong area for some sightseeing. We stopped at a zoo of sorts for a wonderful elephant show, and I pet baby deer, and we drove through a huge tropical orchard.
Enjoy the storm pictures.
